Intrepid revamps trade portal

Intrepid Travel has produced a new trade portal to make it easier for travel agents to book tours and manage clients’ bookings.

The portal includes new features such as Live Chat, a booking progress bar that shows when payment is due and when agents need to finalise passenger details, and the ability to update booking information up until the booking has been confirmed.

The operator is now offering one login per individual agent rather than one login per store, as was the case previously. The portal is also mobile and tablet friendly.

The changes follow feedback from partners and agents, including nine months of workshops and user experience sessions.

Aaron Hocking, Intrepid Group regional director, EMEA, said: “As a business, we are focused on innovation and we want the new portal to reflect this. Our aim is to make the booking process as seamless as possible for agents and their clients.”
