Italy will close runway 35L/17R at Milan Malpensa Airport for upgrades from March 16 to May 9.
During the seven-week project the airport will operate on a single runway, reducing hourly movements and prompting carriers to redirect flights to Milan’s Linate Airport.
The Italian Civil Aviation Authority has plans in place to increase Milan Linate’s operational capacity during this period.
