Jamaica has launched an online version of its Immigration/Customer Declaration Form (C5 form).
According to the Jamaica Customs Agency, the form aims to reduce waiting and processing times at both the immigration and customs halls.
The online form will capture the same information as the manual version. It cannot be amended once completed, however travellers may complete and submit another form, which will supersede any previous submissions.
Travellers who use the service can fill out the online form once they have booked their flight or while en route to Jamaica. The manual form will still be available to passengers and the manual processing will continue alongside the use of the electronic system.
