LATAM Airlines will

introduce the Airbus

A350 XWB aircraft on

the Johannesburg-São Paulo

route from August 1.

With a three-class

configuration, the aircraft

features fully reclining seats

in business class, panoramic

windows and wider overhead

lockers for more storage

space in economy class.

To help stave off jet lag,

the cabin has an intelligent

LED lighting system that

simulates natural phases of

the day.

Compared with previousgeneration aircraft, the

A350 XWB has 25% lower

operating costs, fuel burn

and CO2 emissions.

The announcement of the

arrival of the new aircraft

comes ahead of the LATAM

Latin America Roadshow

being held for agents in

Johannesburg on May 28

at the Fourways Farmer’s

Market, and in Cape Town

on May 30 at the Cape

Town Marriott Hotel Crystal

Towers. Both events will run

from 08h00 to 13h00.
