From this month, all eight of Lufthansa’s A380-800 aircraft will be equipped with new business-class seats.
Each seat will have direct aisle access, a seat width of 58cm, a bed length of at least two metres, Bluetooth connectivity and flexible partitions.
The aircraft will feature 68 new business-class seats, eight first-class seats, 52 seats in premium economy, and 371 in economy class.
The first aircraft is scheduled to return to service in April, and by the middle of next year all eight A380s are expected to be fully retrofitted.
Following the A380 upgrades, the airline’s Boeing 747-8 and Airbus A350-900 aircraft will receive new seats across all classes.
