LIFT has partnered with volunteer organisation K9 Search and Rescue Association Unit of South Africa (K9 SARA) to help its team quickly reach people in need.

K9 SARA trains its own dogs for search and rescue work. With units in Gauteng, Western Cape, and KwaZulu Natal, it operates nationally across South Africa.

It recently shared the news on Facebook of its successful first test flight supported by the airline between Johannesburg and Cape Town on May 13, with K9 Jedi on board.

K9 SARA said: “Our partnership with LIFT will reduce our deployment time and ensure our teams and K9s arrive rested and ready to work.”
