Heathrow Airport will be closed until 23h59 today (March 21) due to a fire at an electrical substation supplying the airport.
The airport said in a statement that the closure was in effect to “maintain the safety of passengers and colleagues”.
Passengers were advised not to travel to the airport and to contact their airlines for further information.
