Lufthansa will introduce Starlink Wi-Fi on an A320neo from August 19. The aircraft will be the first Lufthansa Group aircraft to feature the new Wi-Fi service.
High-speed Internet will be available free of charge for Lufthansa Group Miles & More members and Travel ID users.
Other group airlines SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, ITA Airways, Edelweiss, Discover Airlines, Air Dolomiti, Lufthansa City Airlines, and Eurowings are also preparing to roll out the new technology.
The group plans to equip a total of 850 aircraft across all its airlines with Starlink Wi-Fi by 2029.
