Luxury on lower Zambezi

African Bush Camps will open a new luxury lodge in June in the eastern part of the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia.

Lolebezi is African Bush Camps’ second safari property in the country, along with Thorntree River Lodge in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

Accommodation includes standard suites and two family suites with riverfront views. Each suite has a private plunge pool and a thatched-roof sala overlooking the Zambezi.

The communal dining area includes an all-day-dining café and a pizza bar. Guests will have a 360-degree view from the bar, which is suspended over an inlet of the Zambezi, and a games room will keep the kids entertained.

Facilities will include a spa and a dedicated yoga deck. For guests interested in a more secluded African safari experience, there is a private dining room, strategically placed private areas (pods) situated on the river for private picnics, and a viewing deck suspended in a tree canopy.

Game drives and walking safaris are seasonal, due to flooding, and do not take place from December to March. However, fishing, canoeing, and cruising will be available. Boating is available all year round.
