Maldives lifts restrictions on three resorts

The Maldives government has lifted temporary restrictive measures imposed on three resort islands.

These were placed on lockdown after suspected coronavirus cases were detected.

The government advised the management of the affected resort islands to maintain a cordoned area where high-risk individuals should remain isolated, and low-risk individuals should be segregated from the high-risk group.

The government has also ordered all individuals to undergo exit screening before leaving the islands.
