Mallorca plans to further reduce the number of cruise passengers allowed to visit Palma during the northern summer.
The number of daily cruise passengers allowed to disembark will be reduced from 8 500 to 7 500 between June and September when the new rules take effect between 2027 and 2029. Arrivals will remain at 8 500 outside the summer season.
Additionally, only three cruise ships will be permitted to dock in the Port of Palma each day, with only one vessel allowed to transport more than 5 000 passengers.
