Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will launch its first luxury river cruise on the Nile in Egypt, with the vessel currently in the design and development phase.
The Nile cruise will offer three-, four-, and seven-night itineraries between Luxor and Aswan. The cruise will feature generously sized suites, three dining venues and a wellness space. A curated cultural programme will include expert-led talks, immersive excursions and guided journeys throughout each voyage.
The group will also assume management of the historic Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan from May 2026 and the Winter Palace in Luxor, which will close in early 2026 for renovations and reopen in July 2027.
