Marriott international has added more benefits for its loyalty members, allowing them to bid their points in exchange for access.
One of the experiences is a flight to Milan with Etihad Airways to attend Milan fashion week. This includes round-trip business-class tickets for two people from Abu Dhabi to Milan, passes to a Milan fashion week show, and a five-night stay at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Milan.
Members can also learn the art of making a braai with a hands-on master class with celebrity Master Chef South Africa judge, Peter Goffe-Wood. This experience includes a familiarisation to authentic farm life at Irene Dairy, and an ice cream-making session together with a stay at the Autograph Collection’s African Pride Irene Country Lodge.
Another experience offers a three-day trip to Jordan. It includes a spa treatment, a visit to Petra, and an overnight stay in a luxury tent in the Wadi Rum desert.
The brand also offers a romantic island getaway to the Indian Ocean Islands with a stay at the St Regis Mauritius resort, including a helicopter ride over the island. Or customers can opt for a stay at The Westin Turtle Bay Mauritius, which includes skydiving for two people or, a visit to Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove, Seychelles, for a private dining experience at Anse Diri beach accompanied by a snorkelling experience.
