MK confirms flight schedule

Air Mauritius has released information regarding its flights from South Africa to Mauritius, following the lifting of the ban on commercial passenger services to the island.

Flights start on Sunday, January 9.

There will be five flights per week for January, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights will be operated by a combination of the A330-900neo and the A350-900.

Outbound flights depart Johannesburg at 13h35 and arrive in Mauritius at 19h35. The inbound flights depart Mauritius at 09h15 and arrive in Johannesburg at 11h50. For flights using the A350-900, the departure will be 10 minutes later.

The airline says that from February 1, it will have daily flights to South Africa.
