The Cape Town-based business secured multiple UK contracts worth more than R1,4 million to supply British Airways flights and private‑label shortbread to the UK market.
Khayelitsha Cookies is a women-owned business that creates job opportunities for women from underserved communities in the Western Cape.
For every 1 000 cookies sold, each woman employed can support between five and seven dependants within her family or community.
