Emirates is to debut its newly retrofitted A380 aircraft featuring its latest Premium Economy cabins to New York JFK, San Francisco, Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore.

So far, EK’s flights to South Africa are not yet earmarked to contain the product.

The new routes with the Premium Economy cabin are:

  • New York JFK on EK 203 and EK 204, from December 1, 2022, (with a second one on EK 201 and EK 202 from March 15, 2023.)

  • Auckland on EK 448 and EK 449, from January 15, 2023.

  • Melbourne on EK 406 and EK 407 from February 1, 2023.

  • San Francisco on EK 225 and EK 226, from February 15, 2023.

  • Singapore on EK 354 and EK 355 from March 1, 2023.

The airline originally launched the Premium Economy product on its London Heathrow, Paris CDG, Christchurch and Sydney routes on August 1. It will add Premium Economy seats, by means of additional flights, on two of these routes - London Heathrow and Sydney.

All flights to Sydney will offer Premium Economy, with the introduction of EK 414 and EK 415, from December 15.

London Heathrow will have a third daily service with the Premium Economy cabin on flights EK 005 and EK 006 from January 1, 2023.
