Munich Airport prepares for rebound

Munich Airport is preparing for a rebound in air traffic and increasing passenger numbers with extensive measures to protect against COVID-19 infection.

As well as the usual measures of sanitisation, barriers and physical distancing employed globally to protect against the virus, the airport says Terminal 2 will also house six vending machines – four before security and two in the gate area – that can be used to purchase face masks, disinfectant wipes, and other sanitary products.

Travellers will be informed of rules of conduct through regular announcements, posters, video screens, and heavier staff presence.
