The Am Weinberg Boutique Hotel in Windhoek has joined the Gondwana portfolio of lodges and hotels. Now known as The Weinberg, it is under the management of experienced hotelier, Janet Wilson-Moore, GM of both The Weinberg and the Hotel Collection for Gondwana.

Situated near the city centre and a short drive from Hosea Kutako International Airport, The Weinberg is suited to both leisure travellers and professionals, and provides a venue for conferences, events and celebrations.

The 41-room hotel is built around a fountain courtyard, and offers direct access to the facilities of the Am Weinberg Estate, such as the Soulstice Day Spa, Cape Town Fish Market, Butcher’s Block and Olivia’s Kitchen. The Estate’s Sky Lounge is currently closed for maintenance until further notice.

Gondwana Card holders can now stay at The Weinberg at the standard discount according to the card’s terms and conditions (50% for Namibians and 40% for SADC citizens on bed and breakfast service).

“It is exciting to engage with a new team that is so excited to join the Gondwana Family. Beyond that, after two difficult years in tourism, we now have the opportunity to lead this hotel into a brilliant new future,” says Wilson-Moore.
