NCL doubles solo staterooms fleetwide

Due to increased demand, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is introducing about 1 000 solo staterooms across its fleet of 19 ships.

The new solo rooms will include Solo Inside, Solo Oceanview and Solo Balcony categories, which will be available on itineraries from January 2, reports travelpulse.com.

“With pricing and availability dependent on the destination and demand, solo travellers can expect to pay less than a traditional double occupancy room,” said NCL.

Guests staying in solo staterooms will have access to communal Studio Lounges offered on selected NCL ships, which offer beer, wine and an array of snacks.

NCL currently has solo accommodation in only nine of its ships.
