Norwegian Cruise Line has taken delivery of Norwegian Luna, the 21st ship in its fleet and the second ship in the Prima Plus Class. The 3 565-passenger ship features 1 809 staterooms, 17 dining options and 18 bars and lounges.
Highlights of the onboard family activities include:
- The Aqua Slidecoaster – a hybrid between a waterslide and rollercoaster exclusively available on NCL.
- Luna Midway – an outdoor amusement-park-style area featuring carnival-inspired games.
- Moon Climber – a multi-level obstacle course.
- The Luna Game Zone – featuring retro arcade favourites and virtual reality experiences.
- The Glow Court – a high-tech complex with an interactive LED floor that doubles as a play space during the day and a club at night.
Entertainment includes tribute shows to Elton John and the Eagles and a multimedia show featuring cirque-style acrobatics and contemporary dance.
The dining line-up will offer:
- A rotating menu of classic favourites and globally inspired dishes at the main dining rooms and a 24-hour eatery for casual bites
- The Indulge Food Hall with nine stations offering Indian cuisine, smokehouse favorites, noodle dishes and plant-based options
- Speciality restaurants such as Le Bistro, NCL's signature French restaurant, and Sukhothai, a Thai dining venue.
The ship will feature NCL’s exclusive ship-within-a-ship concept, The Haven by Norwegian, with expansive staterooms and public spaces, a restaurant reserved for Haven guests and a personalised butler and concierge service.
Norwegian Luna will homeport in Miami and offer year-round Caribbean itineraries from April.
