New corporate rooms portal

Corporate travel and accommodation supplier, Villas and Hotels for Africa, has launched a free online booking portal specifically for agents looking for lodgings for business clients in South Africa and the company says it pays commission on these bookings.

The company already has an accommodation booking platform that offers access to 20 000 rooms across South Africa and has now created a second one in response to agents’ urgent need to generate revenue.

“All of them have at least one business client who may need to travel for work in the coming weeks. The rates on this portal are all commissionable, meaning that they can start to earn some much-needed income by using it to find accommodation,” says Carmen Sampayo-Deavall, director of Villas and Hotels for Africa.

She says some of the listed properties are closed, but will be happy to open for business travel clients of travel agents. “Prices start from R250 per night for a single room in a B&B facility,” says Carmen

There is no charge for the use of the platform.
