A new travel expo will launch in SA in August this year. The Luxury Travel Show will be held at the Sandton Convention centre from August 3 – 5, showcasing travel and accommodation options available in SA, the rest of Africa and abroad.
Products to be showcased include luxury trains, boats and planes, private game reserves, lodges and safaris, hotels, resorts, golf resorts and concierge and chauffeur services. The show will also include exhibitions from spas, specialist operators, cruise companies, tourist boards and destination marketing companies.
The show aims to create a visitor experience through interactive show programmes, competitions and a ‘chill area’ for travel planning discussions.
Mike Armstrong, show director says, “The Luxury Travel Show is the first of its kind in South Africa and planned to be an annual event on the travel calendar.”
