New property collection launches

The Nest Collection – a new hospitality management solution for owners and managers of boutique accommodation establishments – launched this month.

Its aim is twofold: to bring together a bespoke collection of distinctive, individual, boutique properties to create a quality travel ecosystem, and to offer an array of solutions for those properties to help them maximise revenue and opportunities.

Co-founder of the Nest Collection, Riaan Kruger, said the aim was to introduce scalable management solutions and flexible hybrid lease-to-operate solutions, formulated specifically for small, independently owned boutique establishments.

“Our solutions are formulated for the hands-on owner and property manager, as well as for the owner or investor who likes to be a little less involved and wants to watch from the sidelines,” he said.

The offerings comprise customisable elements, including hotel operations management; finance accountability and reporting; human resources support; marketing and  sales direction; guest and public relations engagement; revenue management and enhancement; centralised reservations; risk management and performance monitoring.

“We want to work with a group of like-minded owners and managers who share our vision of providing truly luxurious and memorable experiences,” said Riaan. “The vision for our portfolio is of a group of small, boutique properties with an eye on design, a passion for personal service, unique destinations with customisable offerings, authentic cuisine and which reflect the heritage and culture of their location.”

Riaan says by pooling resources as a collection, properties could save costs and benefit from being part of a structured group. “Centralising elements like reservations, sales and marketing helps cut costs, maximises cross-pollination, shares both risk and profit and builds sustainability in the industry through partnerships and aligned interests.”
