KrisFlyer, the Singapore Airlines Group’s frequent flyer programme, has introduced Elite Gold rewards, with benefits that will give Elite Gold members additional incentives when they travel with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir.
The rewards, which include double KrisFlyer miles, one-class cabin upgrades for short-haul flights and upgrades to premium economy class, will be awarded to members when they reach various levels of spend.
When members have earned 60 000 miles on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights during membership year, they will be eligible to receive a double KrisFlyer miles reward and will receive a voucher that allows them to earn twice the KrisFlyer miles for a single flight segment.
At 75 000 miles earned, members will receive a short-haul advance upgrade that allows them to apply for a one-cabin class upgrade for a single flight segment for selected routes at the point of booking.
Members who have reached the 100 000 Elite milestone are offered a premium economy advance upgrade, and will receive an advance upgrade voucher, which allows them to apply for an upgrade from economy to premium economy class at the point of booking.
Both the short-haul and premium-economy advance upgrades will be confirmed at the point of booking and are subject to availability.
