Kafunta River Lodge in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia, has recently opened its Tree Deck.
The deck, which previously stood at the front of the lodge overlooking the floodplain, was moved during the construction of Sunset House, a safari villa.
Relocated to the back of the property, it now overlooks a dry oxbow lagoon and is shaded by a canopy of mature trees.
“The Tree Deck is already coming into its own for lunches and was commandeered as the perfect yoga pavilion by a recent group of yoga-loving guests,” said Zambia Tourism.
