The US Department of Homeland Security announced that it might relax the hand luggage 100ml liquid limit imposed by the Transportation Security Administration at ports of entry.

According to CNN, the Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, explained that relaxed liquid limits would streamline the air screening experience for passengers in US airports.

Larger quantities of liquids, gels and aerosols are permitted in checked luggage.

The policy change announcements would be finalised on official channels, said Homeland Security.
