Newmark Hotels & Reserves will open Thitaka River Lodge, its newest addition in Namibia’s Zambezi Region, on October 1.
Set along the Kwando River within Bwabwata National Park, the luxury tented lodge is within reach of both Victoria Falls and Livingstone. Guests can arrive via a 280km road transfer or by private charter to the lodge’s airstrip.
The lodge offers a range of accommodation options, including:
- Six Luxury Tented Villas positioned along the banks of the Kwando River. Each villa accommodates two guests and features a private deck.
- The Luxury Bush Tented Villa featuring two separate en-suite bedrooms, a private lounge, outdoor dining area, multiple private decks. It accommodates up to four guests.
- Three Luxury Private Villa Tents overlooking the Kwando River. Each accommodates two guests and features a lounge, private dining area, plunge pool and expansive outdoor decks.
- Three Family Tented Villas with generous living spaces and two separate en-suite bedrooms. Each accommodates up to four guests and features a shared lounge and private outdoor decks for each bedroom.
Beyond the lodge, guests can experience the region through game drives, river safaris, birdwatching and walking safaris, while the spa offers treatments between activities.
