Museums and other ‘low-risk’ indoor cultural venues will be allowed to open in New York on August 24, with strict COVID-19 rules, lohud reports.
New York governor Andrew Cuomo made the announcement on Friday (August 14), and said the restrictions included operating at 25% occupancy capacity.
The governor said the openings were connected to New York's low infection rate, which had hovered below 1% over the seven days prior to the announcement.
