Operator hits hole-in-one

GRACIOUS Golfing - a Durban, KwaZulu Natal-based tour operator - was established recently with the aim of offering international travellers a comprehensive tour package catering to golfing enthusiasts, but also offering a number of other activities for non-golfing travel companions.
"We've found that many travellers, especially from America, have the policy of 'where you go, I go' and then non-golfers are bored with the itinerary. I believe we've been able to bridge the gap by offering packages which include game-viewing, adventure safaris, sightseeing and historic overviews of the golf course we visit," says co-owner Cheryl Stafford, who established Gracious Golfing with her husband Peter.
Itineraries to all parts of Southern Africa, are flexible and designed according to individual needs.
"We are linked to a number of international golf tour operators and this partnership has helped us to fully understand the special needs of the golf traveller," she says.
Gracious Golf also organises weekend getaways, teambuilding and executive conference co-ordination.
