Pakistan has suspended its free Visa Prior to Arrival (VPA) programme by removing the VPA option from its online visa portal and redirecting applicants to the standard e-visa platform.
Previously, citizens from 34 African countries, including South Africa, benefited from the free VPA to Pakistan. Now, they are required to apply via the official e-visa platform, https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/.
The standard e-visa requirements will apply, including a US$20 (R327) fee for a single-entry tourist/visit visa and $100 (R1 635) for a single-entry business visa.
