Photocap: Travel Counsellors receives Queen’s Award

Travel Counsellors is celebrating after being
awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for
Enterprise in recognition of the company’s
continued growth and overseas expansion. The
company, which now has over 1 300 agents
running their own businesses across eight
countries, received the UK’s highest accolade
for business success for International Trade.
Travel Counsellors has brought its business
model to Ireland, The Netherlands, South Africa,
Australia, Canada, Dubai and expanded into
Belgium earlier this year. Since it expanded into
Ireland in 2005, the company has experienced
growth of nearly 120%, with global sales for
the financial year end of £385m (R6,7bn).
