The Protea Hotel Balalaika Sandton hosted the monthly
General Managers Lunch on July 8. Over the past 20 years,
invitations have been extended to all gms in the Sandton
node for an informal lunch, hosted by different hotels and
arranged by Tsogo Sun. This month’s lunch saw DA leader,
Mmusi Maimane (left) address the guests to discuss his
vision for South Africa and the role that the hotel industry
can play. He is pictured with Jörg Zwinscher, gm of the
