Qantas now offers three direct flights a week between Brisbane and San Francisco.
The service is operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Qantas is the first airline to link Brisbane with San Francisco with a direct flight. The flight is 12 hours and 40 minutes long.
To accommodate passengers coming on the new US service to Brisbane, additional terminal transfer buses will be made available during peak morning periods.
In April, the airline will also start flying to Chicago from Brisbane.
