Qatar Airways has announced its role as the Official Strategic Partner for the first A1 Horticultural Exhibition 2023 Doha.
The exhibition will be the first in Qatar, the Middle East and North Africa, and the airline’s partnership underlines the airline’s commitment to bring global attention to the expo and to Qatar as a leading travel destination.
Expo 2023 Doha is expected to attract about three million visitors from around the world and will take place in the Al Bidda Park, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, reports afritraveller.com.
The six-month event will run from October 2023 to March 2024 and will offer beautiful gardens, thought-provoking talks, arts and cuisine, and discussions on innovative solutions to alleviate desertification.
To celebrate the airline’s partnership with Expo 2023 Doha, an exclusive aircraft livery is set to be unveiled by Qatar this month.
Travellers on the airline will view a horticulturally themed welcome video, celebratory artwork and special dining options on selected routes.
Additionally, Discover Qatar, the airline’s DMC, is offering international travellers complimentary entry vouchers for the duration of the Expo 2023 Doha.
Stopover packages are on offer, such as the Standard Stopover, showcasing four-star hotel accommodation starting at US$14 (R262) per night, Premium Stopover, with five-star accommodation starting at $23 (R430) per night, and Luxury Stopover, offering five-star lavish hotel stays and daily breakfasts from $81 (R1 516) per night.
