Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health has announced on its website that it will remove the requirement for travellers to present a negative COVID test result on arrival.
Travellers will also no longer have to register on the Ehteraz application unless they are entering a health care facility.
The changes will come into effect from November 1, just ahead of the FIFA World Cup, which begins on November 20.
Until now, all travellers aged six and upwards needed to have a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours or a Rapid Antigen Test result taken within 24 hours of travel.
The destination removed the mandatory quarantine requirement in September. According to iVisa, travellers also do not need a vaccination certificate to enter the country.
