Qatar Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with Air Malta, increasing flight connectivity and travel options for customers, and boosting tourism to the Malta region.
The agreement follows the launch of Qatar Airways’ direct service between Doha and Valletta, Malta, in June last year. The schedule includes daily flights in the summer and four flights a week during winter.
Under the codeshare, Qatar Airways’ passengers have increased connectivity to destinations in Malta and to Air Malta’s Mediterranean network. Codeshare destinations include Cagliari, Palermo and Catania.
Air Malta’s passengers have access to travel options from Doha to more than 170 destinations in the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Sales are open and codeshare flights start March 9.
