QF to introduce EMDs

25 Nov 2013 - by Tammy Sutherns
Comments | 0

Qantas is implementing EMDs (Electronic Miscellaneous Documents) from February.
This is part of Iata’s Simplifying the Business initiative, where the use of Virtual Multi-Purpose Documents (vMPDs) and Virtual Miscellaneous Charges Orders (vMCOs) will be removed from travel agents sales globally. In accordance with Iata’s announcement, vMCOs will be decommissioned in January. From this time, travel agents will only be able to issue vMPDs until Qantas implements EMDs.
