Radisson announces India expansion plan

The Radisson Hotel Group plans to open more than a dozen new hotels in India to rapidly boost its South Asia portfolio.

The new hotels will add about 1 880 rooms across India, with some expected to be operational from 2021.

The 138-room Radisson Blu Hotel Jaipur Malviya Nagar in Jaipur will open in 2025. A mixed-use project featuring 1 200 office units in the National Capital Region will open as Radisson Hotel Greater Noida in 2021.

Radisson Hotel Dehradun in Uttarakhand will offer 120 rooms when it opens in 2023. In Vadodara, Gujarat, the 140-room Radisson Hotel Vadodara is scheduled for operations by 2023.

Radisson will open the first international upscale hotel in 2021, a kilometre from the new Bareilly Airport. The company will open its first hotel in Katra and it will form part of dual-branded development with Park Inn by Radisson in 2022.

Under the hotel group’s Park Inn by Radisson brand, seven hotels are expected to open within the next three years. Locations for these properties include Kashipur, Saputara and Mashobra.
