Radisson Hotel Group has maintained its position as one of Africa’s fastest-growing hotel companies with the signing of seven new hotels and over 1 400 rooms across the continent. The new hotels will expand the group’s brands, from upscale to premium luxury lifestyle.

Radisson Hotel Nairobi Airport

This new-build will be the group’s fourth hotel in Kenya and the first Radisson property in the country. The 200-room hotel will open mid-2027 and will be easily accessible to tourists and business travellers due to its proximity to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. It will feature a lobby bar, all-day-dining restaurant, a gym, spa, pool, retail unit, and crew lounge. The meetings and events area will consist of a conference room, two meeting rooms, a boardroom, and a business centre.

Radisson Blu Beach Resort & Spa, Banjul

Currently under construction, this new-build, 462-room hotel will open in early 2025. It is in the Bijilo region in Banjul, Gambia, with direct access to the ocean. It will offer large, contemporary rooms, presidential apartments, and royal villas, five food and beverage outlets, including a cocktail bar, all-day-dining restaurant, speciality restaurant, poolside restaurant, and beach bar. Other facilities will include a fitness and wellness centre.

There will be 3 025sqm meeting and events space with beach access, consisting of a conference hall, 12 meeting rooms, conference room, boardrooms, reception, pre-function area, and a banquet showroom.

Radisson Collection Resort, Marsa Alam Port Phoenice

Opening in early 2025, this newly built resort in Egypt at Port Phoenice on the Red Sea, will comprise 294 rooms, including 20 suites. It will feature a lobby lounge, all-day-dining restaurant, high-end speciality restaurant, beach restaurant, and beach bar. The resort will also have a fitness centre, diving centre, theatre, kids’ club, pools, and direct access to the beach.

Radisson Hotel Algiers El Mouradia

Radisson’s second hotel in Algeria, Radisson Hotel Algiers El Mouradia, will open in mid-2026. The 148-room hotel in the El Mouradia district will be close to the city centre and Port of Algiers. Apart from food and beverage outlets, its leisure facilities will include a swimming pool, retail area, spa, hair salon and fitness gym. Its meetings and events space will consist of a ballroom, conference room, and meeting rooms.

Radisson will also open three new hotels in Nigeria – the 104-room Radisson Blu Hotel Abuja CBD in early 2025, the 62-room Radisson RED Lagos VI towards the end of 2025, and the 249-room Radisson Collection Hotel and Conference Centre in Abuja.
