Robben Island Museum has revised its operations in line the latest adjusted Level 3 lockdown regulations.

Tours will now be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 09h00 and 13h00. Maximum capacity on ferries will remain at 70%, buses will operate at 50% capacity and tour numbers will remain at 25 people per tour guide on arrival at the island.

Tours of the island last three-and-a-half hours. Each leg of the ferry trip takes between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the vessel used and the sea conditions.

All tours are subject to availability and demand and are weather dependent. If a tour is cancelled due to weather conditions or for other reasons, visitors can rebook for the next available tour or receive a full refund. Rescheduling will be at no cost.
