Luxury safari operator, Thanda Safari, has introduced the Royal Thanda Club, a collection of ultra-exclusive private residences available for rent within its private game reserve in northern KwaZulu Natal.

The Royal Residences add a fourth, ultra high-end safari offering, joining Thanda Safari’s three other accommodation options: Thanda Safari Lodge, Villa iZulu and Thanda Tented Camp.

Ranging in size from 587sqm to 1 100sqm, the four- and five-suite Royal Residences offer privacy and views over the 14 000ha Big Five private game reserve.

The residences offer an extensive range of lavish facilities and amenities, from private verandas and air-conditioning to indoor and outdoor showers. Private swimming pools, hot tubs, and spa treatments are also available to guests.

The Royal Thanda Club currently has four Royal Residences available for rental this year. Prices for a four-suite Royal Residence start from R149 889 a night and include a dedicated hospitality team, field rangers and trackers, all meals and selected beverages, game drives and bush walks.

Commenting on the launch of The Royal Thanda Club, Thanda Group CEO, Pierre Delvaux, said: “These Royal Residences offer one of the most exclusive and private safari offerings in Africa; a home away from home where you can appreciate quality time, create extraordinary memories, connect with nature in one of the world’s most beautiful game reserves, and watch your future unfold…imagine.”

Thanda Safari has confirmed to Travel News that the Royal Thanda Club welcomes bookings from travel agents and that it pays commission.
