SANParks launches new pre-booking tool

SOUTH African National
Parks has included a new
pre-booking feature for
day visitors in its online
bookings portal.
The new function will
enable users to pre-book
their day visitor park permits
for several days at a time,
alleviating waiting in the
queue at the park gates.
Guests are able to book
a permit/permits online for
specific timeslots, such as
entry from gate opening time
to two hours after the gate
has opened; two to four
hours from the gate opening
time; or four or more hours
from the gate opening time.
Previously, advance day
visitor bookings could only
be done for the park by
contacting the reservations
office.
SANParks acting head of
communications, Reynold
Thakhuli, said: “SANParks is
continually developing ways
to make our guests’ booking
experience easier and this
is the latest addition to our
ever-evolving world of online
bookings.”
