Scenic Cruises, represented by Cruise Vacations in the South African market, has unveiled submersible excursions that will deployed on Scenic Eclipse II.

The announcement follows successful trials and the awarding of safety certification for its new Triton 660/9 AVA submersibles, Scenic Neptune I and Scenic Neptune II.

The submersibles will offer guests on the Scenic Eclipse II on voyages to Australia, East Antarctica, and the South Pacific, tours of the Great Barrier Reef and underwater excursions to icebergs.

Experiences on Scenic Eclipse II will also include the use of two state-of-the-art helicopters and four sea scooters.

Each voyage will be led by an expert team who will provide insights into each destination.
