Silverstar Casino has undergone a R560m
development. The venue unveiled its new
entertainment complex at a grand launch
event on November 14. The ‘spectacular
complex’ now offers The Globe, a 2 200-
seat dome that can host expos and shows;
a Boktown venue where over 1 000
spectators can watch games on a 62sqm
state-of-the-art high-definition screen; and
a Parker’s Comedy & Jive stand-up comedy
venue. It also houses six new restaurants;
a large Magic Company with the latest
arcade games, a 12-lane bowling alley and
a 450sqm hi-tech laser-tag games facility
as well as a Movies@ cinema complex
with the latest 3D technology. Pictured
