SPONSORED: Travelstart’s acquisition of Club Travel and what it means for franchisees

25 Nov 2019

Since Travelstart completed its acquisition of Club Travel, Club’s franchise partners might be wondering what’s in store for them.

The question was put to Jo Fraser, franchise director at Club Travel.

Jo reaffirmed Club Travel’s commitment to franchise partners saying that the acquisition is not a merger of the two companies. “Even though Club Travel and its subsidiaries are now part of the Travelstart group of companies, Club Travel will continue to function independently. There are no changes to our brand, and the legal entity, contracts with partners and customer support remain the same.”

Club Travel franchise partners can look forward to some exciting technology in quarter one of 2020. With Travelstart, Club Travel is building new tools including a mobile app, a white label, an accounting solution and a single platform to access LCC content. “We will leverage our relationship with Travelstart to improve existing tools and develop new features that will help franchisees manage their businesses better,” said Jo.

Both companies have a shared mission of making travel easier and better for customers. By working together, they want to help partners operate more efficiently and effectively.
