Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines are to expand their codeshare routes under a joint business arrangement. They will also participate in joint marketing activities to develop tourism.
The agreement includes joint fare products where both carriers will align corporate programmes and tie-ups between their frequent-flyer programmes.
Singapore Airlines and SilkAir will codeshare on domestic flights in Malaysia to a total of 16 destinations.
In turn, Malaysia will codeshare on flights between Singapore and Malaysia, Europe, South Africa and other destinations, once approval is granted.
