Stakeholders invited to join online travel and tourism conference

Tourism and hospitality industry stakeholders can attend the free online Hospitality Tomorrow conference about the COVID-19 pandemic, to be held on April 7.

The virtual conference will be led by special adviser to the secretary-general of the UN World Tourism Organisation, Anita Mendiratta, and chairman of Bench Events, Jonathan Wolsley. It will take place from 11h00-17h00.

“It is crucial that we rebuild confidence in the global community. Now is the time to start the conversation – make those critical connections that you need to build the right understanding, relationships, unity and actionable ways to support one another now for a stronger response – as one industry, one community,” said the conference leaders in a joint statement on the conference registration website.

The website says attendees can expect to gain six hours of interactive, essential industry insights, from a line-up of speakers that include ceo of the Mantis Collection, Paul Gardiner; head of property services for Hotel Partners Africa, David Harper; and senior adviser to the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia, Haitham Mattar.

The virtual conference will offer face-to-face networking and roundtable opportunities as well as a virtual exhibition. At the ‘online reception desk’, organisers can assist with any issues.
