Swan Hellenic announces Africa grand voyages

Swan Hellenic has announced two Africa grand voyages for 2026 that combine a series of its shorter itineraries into two extended expeditions, exceeding 30 days.

Both sailings aboard SH Diana offer an in-depth exploration of the West Coast of Africa.

The 51-night northbound voyage combines the following shorter itineraries:

  • The 11-night ‘Cruising in Namibia: the Skeleton Coast’ that departs Cape Town on March 25, 2026, arriving in Luanda on April 5, 2026.
  • The 13-night ‘Southwest Africa Cruise’ that departs Luanda on April 5, 2026, arriving in Tema (Accra) on April 18, 2026.
  • The 13-night ‘Cruise West Africa: The Slavery Coast’ that departs Tema (Accra) on April 18, 2026, arriving in Dakar on May 1, 2026.
  • The seven-night ‘Cruise from Senegal to Morocco’ that departs Dakar on May 1, 2026, arriving in Casablanca on May 8, 2026.
  • The seven-night ‘Morocco to Portugal Cruise’ that departs Casablanca on May 8, 2026, arriving in Lisbon on May 15, 2026.

The 35-night southbound voyage combines:

  • The 9-night ‘Atlantic Cruise from Portugal to Senegal’ that departs Lisbon on September 7, 2026, arriving in Dakar on September 16, 2026.
  • The 13-night ‘The Slavery Coast: from Senegal to Ghana’ that departs Dakar on September 16, 2026, arriving in Tema (Accra) on September 29, 2026.
  • The 13-night ‘West Africa Cruise from Ghana to Angola’ that departs Tema (Accra) on September 29, 2026, arriving in Luanda on October 12, 2026.

The cruises can be booked separately or as part of the grand voyage.
