TAAG Angola Airlines will provide more flight options, following the recent announcement of the codeshare agreement between TAAG Angola and low-cost Brazilian airline, GOL.
As a result of the codeshare, TAAG will add a new flight to the Luanda-São Paulo connection. This means the carrier will offer six weekly flights overall (previously five), from August 2.
The new frequency is on Wednesdays, operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft, in the regular night-flight departure slot from Luanda International Airport.
According to TAAG, the average load factor on the route has been an impressive 73%.
São Paulo and Luanda are good connecting hubs between Latin America, Africa, and Europe, and are seeing growing transatlantic demand from tourism and the business segment.
Ticket sales for the new flight are open.
