TC launches interactive itineraries

On May 13, Travel Counsellors in South Africa will have a new tool enabling them to display multimedia itineraries and present more personalised quotes to clients.

Developed in-house by TC over the past 12 months and fully integrated into the myTC platform, the new feature transforms traditional, static travel documents into visually rich, multimedia itineraries.

The interactive itineraries include rich destination content based on Phenix package sales, and blend captivating storytelling, vibrant imagery and practical travel tips to inspire and inform clients.

“We’re excited to introduce our interactive itineraries feature, representing another step forward in how we use technology to enhance the personal touch that our Travel Counsellors offer. By reimagining traditional itineraries as dynamic, content-rich journeys, we’re not only improving customer engagement but also giving our business owners back valuable time, enabling them to focus on what they do best-- building strong, lasting relationships with their customers and clients,” said Jon Bauer, Travel Counsellors’ Chief Technology Officer.

The launch follows Travel Counsellors’ acquisition of Planisto, a travel technology platform which has played a key role in accelerating the content development capabilities within the myTC platform.
